I took these pics at Pismo Beach over the weekend, where we had fun in the sun and surf...and the dunes! My SS is a full runner. The paint is all House of Kolor silver metalflake with candy copper in the colored area. and let me tell you the pics do not do this one justice. This project has been a bear of a task but it's all been worth it and to see it slide across the sand is incredible. A BIG thank you to Toykid, Toymkr73, Lowtech, Potential Esquire and Huffmeister for all the help, parts and service they've provided in getting this together. So when's Malibu really going to happen? 8D

Blitzer nose shown, will add my SS repro nose soon just fitted some RAM lights

This S.S looks really at home on the beach. Colour turned out really well. I like the small detail you added on the licence plates. One of the best alternative paint schemes i have seen.

You know, when that driver is put in and if you rolled down the antennae wire, that thing would definately look 1:1 real. Beautifull job on this one.

I see to have missed this one it looks superb! is that Toykids stinger? If not how did you acheive the very realistic effect.

tuffbug, I airbrushed that stinger with Also chrome base, then thinned Tamiya clear colors over it, followed by acrylic clear. Still looks good today, although this SS has been converted to a box stock. The metalflake bodyset is going on another project...should be in the showroom soon!
