Tamiya 'desert' Sand Rover
... i wanted something different. i love the orange and lime green paint scheme, didn't won't to copy an existing paint scheme and found a can full with ocher paint in my hobby room.
believe me, it took a few days and lots of pain in the stomach to paint this color. the ocker looked nice on the cap of the spray can and 'something different' on the car. i took five coats to get a uniform color on the body.
after painting i realized that all my old decals look to colorful on the ocker *%&@ยง*. that was a very sad moment and i was thinking about to remove the color. but when i took the body out of my hobby room into the day light i really started to love the color.
i added a few black proline rims, offroad tires and only a few decals to keep the focus on the body color.
the car is fully ballraced, powered by a 540 motor and a tamiya esc. the front 'shock' tower was brocken and the stiff springs are replaced by softer springs.

I like it, as you say looks nicely clean! Why didn't you use Tamiya TS sprays? They help avoiding much hassle
