Many people seemed to complain about the ride height of this kit but with the shocks mounted on the lower inner most hole the kit sits no lower than my Hotshot2/Supershot runner and as you can see from the pics that’s plenty high enough, the bottoming out which still occurs is more a poorly setup shock issue rather than a ride height issue....This is a buggy not a truck, it's not ment to have too much ground clearance....!

Its fitted with a Tamiya Super Stock RZ motor which on the first run overheated the stock TEU-101BK speedy which then resulted in it shutting down, it still works fine but has now been replaced with a Novak XRS. It’s a pity it cant handle what seems to be anything other than a stock or Tamiya sport motor because it seems to be a nice little speedy.

Other than replacing the plastic bearings and adding the turnbuckle set this is standard but many upgrades are planed for this runner. Overall I am very pleased with this kit and when teamed with the RZ it has a nice bit of speed.

Nicest GH I've seen - I like these buggies so much better when they are away from the boxart and all the flames and naff decals...

All plans of modifying this further were put on hold when I found out that the TopForce was being re-released, The TopForce is one of my favorite tamiya kits so I’ll be getting a number of the re-releases and using one as a runner. This kit eventually will be upgraded with a lot of anodized bits but it is now likely that it will be retired early and spend most of its time on the shelf. I painted mine with tamiya PS23 gun metal as it’s the colour of the TopForce Evo.
