The body is a long way from the standard of which I prefer - however the car is perfect. I may well turn it into an Ascona as I prefer that car - and I have a new bodyset! Either way this was a great deal - the car hadnt been finished being assembled!
Thats exactly what I meant mate - the detailing on the grill and rear end - basically all of the painted parts other than the lexan body are poorly finished. It wont be to hard to repair - just need to re-decal as you say as well. Thanks inetRC - I think the Asona is just that little more realistic in scale - something 'wrong' with the look of the Audi - still a great peice of kit though.

LOL - yes - as I mentioned - the body was painted when I got it - I will naturally be stripping down and repainting / decaling.

Haven't seen one pop up in this nice a condition for a while. Very nice find! I have a bias for the Opel myself! I hope you go the Ascona route!

Why would you repaint such a beauty? Only needs some decal corrections and front mask repaint
