Tamiya Truck Handbook (Germany)

This is one of my favourite things. It is the Tamiya Truck Handbook, from Dickie Tamiya (Germany), a 32 page book / brochure. I learned about it from TC member Stefan (nice bloke). Came from someone called 'mercedesfuzzi' on Ebay Germany, cost 10 Euros plus 4.80 Euros postage, I payed way too much for it, and the guy did not pack it well, despite me telling him to put it between 2 pieces of card, and as a result it was a bit 'roughly treated' by the postal service, just like the idiots (IMHO) at ModelSport who bent my Tamiya 2005 catalogue in half recently when they sent it through the post to me, just because their jiffy bag was slightly undersized. God I hate things like this, it takes almost no effort to do the job properly and use their brains but some people are just idiots. A week later I learned that you can also get this at ;-

...and they had it at half the price... Oh well. Then again this web page says 'Sold Out! Item no longer available'?!


Anyway at least I finally have the thing. Lovely pictures of the Tamiya Tractor Trucks :-):-). This brochure is in the German language. I can read some German but it's an up-hill struggle and it took me 90 minutes to translate the 'Contents and Editorial' page, and there's another 30 odd pages to translate :-(. This is a great brouchure though, heartily recommended :-)
