Just realised I hadn't put the updated pics on here from months ago. I relocated the battery pack right over the front axle for better climbing, moved ESC forward as well. Stripped extra weight of a Kamtec Land Rover shell and mounted on flexible uprights. Added a heavy duty chequer plate skid guard to protect steering servo.
Only problem I've had with this truck is a tendancy for the dogbones to disengage from their drive axles and then jamming in the upright. Found out why this was - I'd forgotten to put the little O rings in the drive axles after a rebuild a few months back DOH!! To be safe I stuck an O ring in both the drive axle and the output shaft from the gearbox and the problem is resolved!!! 10 10 12
