Woot. I just got it and built it and I'm so happy.
First impressions were great. Easy to build and went together well. I replaced all of the screws with titaniums ones as I use to find that I rounded some of the normal screws. Why tamiya don't use allen key head puzzles me.
I ran the car out on the street with some old tyres and first thing you notice is how well it stayed planted to the ground. There is a fair bit of chassis flex and the shock towers flex lots too but it makes the cae so easy to drive. I rechecked the diffs too as they worn in a bit so needed to be re-tightened.
The steering rack is really nice with no slop.
The car out of the box seemed fast and with a few hop ups and clean bearings will be a fast car.
I've already listed some hop ups it needs. Trf dampers, c/f towers and universal joints will be on my wish list.
Will be driving it in anger soon and will write up more and update it when new bits arrive.

looks cool,I've added all the available hop-ups I wanted (all the blue stuff),also added three chassis stiffeners (only one shew on Shizouka Show pics) they make all the difference to the chassis flex for me.
good hop-upping Oh my body was metallic red

Is that a p2k2 pro motor? What pinoin are you using? Does your XRS esc get hot with that set up? WIll you be racing this? I raced my TA04 and I love it still but I want a TA05 to replace my XXX-S for racing.

I'm using a 23t pinion. I found my old steel pinions. I have a 22, 23 and 26 totth pinions. Will be using the 22t when I put a monster stock in.
