4x4 Scorchalike, or Ranger-alike!
Built over the christmas break, decided to turn it into a monster beetle. Used a Dazmeister Scorcher shell mounted with Kyosho body posts and Thunder Tiger wheels with Carson tyres.
I just need some decals to finish it off. Took it for a blast round the garden and the motor fried! Now fully ballraced fitted with a Kyosho Hi-torque motor, body getting nicely 'lived in' after running into walls/fences etc, patched up with epoxy goop.
Added some Netsmith SS decals. Just bought a set of 4 chromed king blackfoot wheels with tyres, will post some piccys when they arrive. Have now abandoned the monster truck idea, the large wheels burn out the motor!!
I have put the original wheels back on, it goes really well now. If the gear ratios are lower in Wild Dagger I might try that next..
Having a problem with my radio gear on this car, the steering servo gitters really badly, I had this problem at the start of the year and replacing the transmitter cured it until now, its a Hitec, anyone with similar problems or suggested fixes?
**update** Fixed with help from the Forum, thanks everyone.

I like that Beetle. shame that the oversize wheels don't work with the Baja Champ as they looked nice on it. I'd never thought of putting a Beetle body on the TL-01B, but it looks really nice. I wonder if the Mad Bull sized wheels and tyres would work without burning out the motor? I would try it myself, but I'm not that brave . Or maybe Baja Champ rear wheels all round would fit? Nice looking car though :-D

Thanks for the positive words! Rear wheels all round sounds interesting, I may try that when the tyres need changing. Cheers.

The wheels would look cool in sliver i think cool car mate
try the big wheels with schumacher menace tyres, either the off road or on road. I'v got a stadium raider with them and a slightly higher spec with no probs at all with the motor or esc.

Sorry the beetle shell has gone to the great bin in the sky, it took a huge amount of bashing but after this: [Click here] its was unrepairable
