Got this in a buggy I picked up from a local ex racer. He raced in the early 90s when only the Technigold was around, but it has no label on it, nor are there any marks I can see on the armature. Can anyone tell me which motor I have here?

The can - in really good condition Unfortunately no label Armature is in really good condition Brushes are great as well

Looks like a Graupner Speed RX 540 BB VZ (7,2V)Technigold-Clone. I own 2 of them mounted in a Vanquish and a Blackfoot.

From the brushes (pigtails) and ball bearings, I would have to say the can is definently a Technigold. I can't be too sure about the armature though...

Looks like a Technogold. The Technituned and Technpower cans are usually a more pale colour.

Thanks guys, looks like everyone is confirming it's a Technigold. Shame there's no identifying mark on the armature though.

Yes, TT and TP are more pale, also the Graupner clone usually didn't have the pigtails, better make a pic of the timing markings, to be 100% sure as they are different on TT and TP
