This is the first, and only, car that I have built new from the kit!
Quite under-rated I think. Based on the Manta-Ray TA01/02 chassis it is a very reliable 4WD buggy. It didn't take long to build. I installed ball bearings and Kyosho gold shocks and wheels while I was at it. I had a spare Technigold lying around so that went in as well. I also had a cheap Apex ESC which seems to handle the Technigold with no problems.
I didn't like the box-art colour scheme or the decals, so I modified and made my own.
Once I had finished and run it a few times I felt that since this is my first ever kit built from new that I didn't really want to thrash it! Fortunately another one (orange) came up on the local auction site with a low BIN so I nabbed that as well. I fitted a technigold to that one as well, ball-raced it, and fitted a Tekin Rebel ESC. The orange one is now my favourite basher and the purple one is semi-retired.
I have to say that I get more fun out of restoring and fixing old cars. Building the kit was too easy. And then I don't want to get scratches on my shiney new-built!

That looks great. The gold wheels and shocks go great with the colour on the body. Well done !

The wheels are from the Nostalgic series Ferrari 330 P4 .
