This kit was the very beginning of the dynasty of Team Losi when it became known in the 1980's!!! When Gil Losi Jr. originally started racing it was with Team Associated running the RC10 in the mid-80's, and his family ( Gil 'Pops' Losi ) ran the Ranch Pit Stop R/C racetrack in Pomona California where there was always a strive to make the best better. Gil Jr. in the 80's turned his college studies toward engineering in the field of injection molded plastics which lead to his foundation of Team Losi and the JRx2 was born. When the first Team Losi JRx2 buggy was released in the 80's it started a rivalry with Team Associated's RC10 for the podium spot every weekend on the track during the late 1980's and since then that rivalry continues even to this day...... This incredible mint factory sealed kit came from a seller out in the California area of which had a buried stash for years and didn't want to sell since he knew this gem was so rare and difficult to find. After many, many e-mails and trying to preswade a sale it ended up in my hands after a trade agreement. Finally after all that work it made it to Sealed City. This astonishing factory shrink wrapped kit holds tremendous history for Team Losi and this rare beauty even has the 1989 ROAR/NORRCA Champion sticker on the outside on top of the shrink wrap!!! This is the one that put Gil Losi Jr. to the top!

I've seen one of these cars at another hobby shop still NIP. I held it for a minute or two and I had to put it back. He wouldn't sell it yet but I know where his heart is. That might get me in the door.
