'Sad' Scorpion.

Received this a little while ago after bidding far too late in the day ! The photographs were pretty poor but as far as I could see it appeared to be all there but sporting what could best be described as a substantial bumper.
When it came it looked rather 'sad' for itself (see pics.)The valspar (ask your dad or grandad) painted wheels were horrendous but the Cammel-Laird bumper seemed to have mostly protected the front end.
I am presently in the process of refurbishment after stripping it right down.It has had very little running, I guess it would have really struggled to move with that payload !

After a little 'Therapy'.

Removing the white Valspar paint was a trifle testing(that's diplomacy for a S... of a job)
To simulate chrome on the wheels I find particularly difficult.I should, perhaps, lacquer the 'chrome' coating to give a more glossy effect,unless any of you guys does a vac. chroming service.
I have really only cleaned the rolling chassis after a strip-down.I could have gone for the full-on shiny treatment but I think I prefer the clean look.
