Well, here it is fellas. It's the Lancia 037 that ran under Rothmans sponsorship in the '85 Costa Brava. The decals are from a 1/24 Studio 27 sheet, high quality scanned by our very own Cardesigner and printed at my local printshop. Admittedly, they don't really look just wonderful up close, but they do look good from a distance and in photos. Amazingly, this car has no Cul-Tech, Huffmeister, or Twinset parts, although Huff did spray the wheels for me. I borrowed a few of the detail touches from the re-re in mirrors, glass, and the wipers. It's the little touches that make them mine. Anywho, enjoy and, as usual, comments welcomed and appreciated.

Your almost as nerdy as me when it comes to searching for the finer details....and I'm liking what you have done here. Did you know that in the British Rally scene there was a Rothmans BMW M3? New project perhaps?

Well ok I've resisted it so far but I can't no more so it will have to be me that asks! What is the fascination with these fags all about then?

@ Mad Zero, Rothman is my surname, simple as that. @ Brat, yes I know about the M3, but time and money dictate which I can get to when. But, thanks for the tip.

@ Scoobs, I have 4 more bodies in various stages of paint at the moment. When I get all of them finished, I will take them all outside for photos of the whole team. Cheers guys for all the positive comments. Mark, this is the one I told / warned you about.

Another vey cool car to look at. I was with Moosey on the wheels/tires when I first saw it, but somehow the look grew on me by the time I wrote this and I rather dig the beefy look they gives the car. No matter how you slice it though, great looking car!

I'm not talking about this particular car with the big wheels, It's this model on the whole I don't like coz of the huge wheels! The modern 037 kit looks faaaaar better in my book proportion wise. Same with the Audi & Ascona. Fantastic bodies but let down with the wheels!

I think that the wheels and tyres look good on this, the Lancia, but agree with Moosey that they don't suit the Audi or Ascona. There was also a Rothmans version of the Ascona too
