I thought my runner lexan bodyshell could do with cheering up so I printed the sand scorcher decals on glossy adhesive paper, stuck them on and sprayed a thin coat of clear Plastikote over the top.

I think they are fine for using on a lexan shell.

Comments/advice appreciated and welcome!

No plans to print any more at the moment, didn't realise they would be that popular! The main problem is the fact that they were printed using an inkjet printer, so they are not waterproof and stay feeling slightly sticky, that's why I had to laquer them after sticking them on the car. The ones that netsmith does would be better because they are printed on the transparent paper and are waterproof. I only did these because originals are too expensive to use on a lexan shell and because I wanted to see how good a home made job would be.

These look better than some repro decals on ebay. I did this some time ago with my Sand Rover decals. My decals were waterproof before and even more after I have sprayed a thin layer of transparent Tamiya paint onto the sheet.
