From sand Racer to... Desert bug!
Well it's back! i think i keep changing the name of this project daily!! So once and for all it's now called 'Desert Bug'.
For though's that have been fallowing this little project (not that many of you then)!! will know the story of it all, anyway after trying to get the prop lenthend that never got lenthend (that's over 3 months now) it's still in the shop so i called on my new contact of a nabour with his dads metel work shop to make me one.... out of rather thick steel (no way that bending)! but it works for now and is loveingly mashined up with a groove to stop the bairing poping out along with a c-clip indent to stop it going the other way.
A old buddy came round to show off this new Colt 10 and rob me blind of parts for a top force/drift car he's working on but he did leave me with some alum for the arches (still think he got the better deal) so that was turned in to temp arches (until stevo309 have some spare time)
Apart from that there's not much more to do now but a bit of detail work and find the final parts i need.
oh ye what do i need? Well looking for wild willy spot lamp decals or monster beetle spot lamp decals (need about 7),
Monster beetle/blitzer beetle driver body (got a head to use)
there's prob load i forgot to say but i'll fill you's in on the final installment. enjoy!
