Hopping Froggy - Red

This is a flea market find that was in pretty bad shape. I've decided to clean it up, replace broken parts and install all the Frog hop-ups I've gathered over the years. It had severe front end damage but thankfully the chassis is still intact and straight. The gear box was overlubed and just a mess. It had some weird paddle tires in the rear made by BuddyL.

I've installed a new transmission with full bearings and a the robinson racing ball diff/axle/spur gear set that is pictured in my showroom. Also, I installed the CRP front shock kit. I added a CRP bumper along with a new set of wishbones. Also, a set of gold plated CRP wheels are wearing 're-re' tires from Tower Hobbies. Most of the plastic parts were severly worn. The rear shocks are in pretty good shape so I just cleaned and rebuilt them. Amazingly, it came with full bearings except for the rear axles. Too bad they were gritty and useless, had to replace them with new ones.
