Spent a few days completing this, i have i hope the first 2 speed electric tnx i just need to sort a better way of fixing the baterys in .
The parts i used are
Emaxx 2 speed gearbox from ebay with bits from models in motion to complete .
Traxxas 3 chanel reciever around 10 to 12 pound on ebay.
A twin motor hotbodies e-zzila esc around £39 on ebay .
Waterproof case for the reciever traxxas part £1.99 on ebay
Two e-zzila motors there now £19 pound on ebay
Hpi tyres from local hobbyshop £32 pound £4 discount .
hpi wheels £14
hpi wheel hexes and bolts as i was missing 3 . just over £5 from ebay
hpi jeep body £20
Tnx chassis was about £90 pound from ebay
A pair of traxxas tmaxx driveshafts and one gearbox shaft and a bit of modifacation and cutting to make extended shafts bought cheap from ebay try keith.max .
Fitting the gearbox was just a case of cutting two small strips of aluminum sheet and bolting it to the gearbox and then to the truck a little bit of cutting where the front gearbox connects to allow the front shaft to fit without rubbing on the chassis. The servo for the 2 speed gearbox was mounted at the rear and works fine .
Its quite easy and simple to do this, it must be as i have not only completed this project but have it working .
Its very quick and wheelspins all four wheels in both gears its much to quick for the garden as its not big enough, from the quick run i have had, i can confirm is its as quick if not quicker and better handling than my e-zzila it does not tip over under cornering .
I will now be saving for a brushless motor and esc as it works so well .
I am using my hpi savage transmitter as the 3 channel controls the 1st and 2nd gear i prefer stick controlers but this saves money .
Note new location of the roll bar/handle

Very nice work, interesting conversion. For the batteries, some Schumacher battery straps for the Mission might work well, you would have to drill a couple of holes in the chassis to fix them but they will hold the stick packs firmly.
