ONE OF MY TWO NON-TAMIYA CARS!
Traded with another collector, in 2004. It was running, with a healthy Kyosho 'Le Mans' motor, but the rest was not in very good shape: Roller-painted, no wheel case, no jerrycan... Luckily, I found a perfect radial-opening wheel case: a chewing gum box! Carving a jerrycan in plastic *–*except metallic handle and screw-assembled belt – took me more time (2'nd jerrycan on the right comes from a toy). Mirrors and aluminium bumper are home-made too. As usual, I also installed LEDs as driver' s eyes (green) and flashing top lights (red), turned on by a lever switch (similar to the system on my Wild Willy 'twin stars'). Ball bearings and electronic speed controller, of course. Metallic number plate, and adapted Tamiya wheels. First aid kit and bigger fire-extinguisher are Playmobil accessories. Hydraulic shocks are hybrids of three different types. To allow full travel on the front ones, and thus on the wheels, I had to drill another passage through the chassis, for the swinging arm pivot shaft.

WHEELS HAVEN' T BEEN CHANGED ON THESE PHOTOS...
