Almost finished, I used a nice dark pearl blue paint and finished with a gloss coat. I used the excellent TC repro decals in silver. I just need to make the front grill and that's it! You see Pat, (RENKEN 2000) it can be blue as well a Hilux ;o)
Hi Cinnamon, those rollbars and lights are used on many Tamiya models and re-issued ones, like the midnight pumpkin chrome edition, Clodbuster or Blackfoot etc.
they are easy to find on ebay providing you know what to look for ;o) No need to pay a fortune for a real vintage HIlux one
they are the same, there is even 1981 written on the new bars so it must still be the same old moulds. Jerome.
