This Hornet was the TC favorite in my collection before the TC crash of 7/8/06 :(.
Now reposted, this is my first official shelf queen.
I got the idea for this build after collecting several complementary custom parts: Gold Aluminum Nerf Bars (from Rammer), Varicom Rear Gold Oil-Filled Shocks, Vintage Front Bumper (from Pugjo1), M&M Rear Bumper, World Engines Rockbuster Gold Wheels, Traxxas Buggy Tires, Parma Rear Anti-Rollbar (from Pugjo1), Tamiya Gold Anodized Wheel Nuts and Full Tamiya Ball Bearings.
This was my favorite build so far, even though I'm kinda partial to the GrassHopper. I don't have the nerve to run this car for fear that some of the vintage items might get damaged. It's darn tempting though :)

1 Its a looker :) 1 Varicom Gold Shocks 1 Traxxas Bandit Buggy Tires - On a Tamiya (on no) Great day for pictures I think this shot was too close M&M Rear Bumper

I think the real reason you don't want to run it is because the front tires would catch that bumper and flip it out!!!

Hmmm. I never noticed that some of the photos do give the illusion that the front tires are hitting the bumper . Luckily both the front and rear bumpers have a 1/2 inch clearance from the tires in case I ever decide to run it. Check photo number 4.
