TC crash victim: (Description re-entered on 14 July2006)

Almost finished, I just need to install some auxillary LED'S and some last touches to body (mirrors, antenna etc). Two tone Pearl White with metallic rocker panels and custom parts all around. She's about what I envisioned. Nothing wrong with Tamiya's idea but I like my own touches. Planning on LED kit for other lights.

I rarely have enough time to get into larger projects such as these Tamiya's so I decided to spend my two weeks vacation on my Isuzu. Many custom parts, all made by me from scratch. Not sure which took longer all the custom parts or priming, painting, clear coating/polishing. I planned on having this finished two weekends ago. Yeeesh! A lot of work on this project.

I know I'm probably crazy, but she will be a runner eventually. The white-lettered BFG's are for show and pictures. Plain ones are waiting for application and to get dirty. Once a few more coats of clear lacquer and the full lights installed she'll be up'n running.

More pics coming later.

Best,

Note: I've posted a question using LED's for auxiliary lights. I'm open to suggestions. Link: http://tamiyaclub.com/CS/forums/thread/165354.aspx

Ahh, Thats a good looking truck. Wish I had kept mine! The guard is a beautiful piece of work. It looks just like one I had on my fullsize 88 Toyota, I'd sware you shrunk it.

eek!
