This chassis has been sitting naked on a shelf in my study now for about 6 months. It was bought from a mate and fellow racer Dave, who incidentally was also the owner of the EVO 2 in my showroom. I just needed to get a body shell for it to finish it off, but the question was, what one?
I was surfing the HPI site for bodies and came accross the new 200mm 1968 Camaro shell. I couldnt beleive it, it was love at first sight. The next day I was onto my LHS, and promptly had one on order. Color choice was the next problem, and seeing as my artistic talent is zero, I knew a nice airbrush job wasnt going to happen.
Color choice made, and a nice set of wheels, and I'm happy. I have a few other mods in mind like a drinking straw roll cage and exhaust(s). Maybe even a 'Bathurst' style Drop tank for the back. More photos to come for sure.....

Who needs multiple colours when a car can look this mean with one? Very cool.

WOW, that's what you call a mighty agressive looking car and the wheels match perfectly. Love the pics. Cheers

Had one of these in very red, recently sold. I've got 10mm, 5mm mixed led lights that will fit a treat. Fantastic shell, job well done.

Excellent use of the multiple offset deep dish pizza 3 piece wheels there.
