Just finished building this...

So, I decided it was time to actually run a Mini instead of just gazing at it longingly. (See my 58149 Mini; I've added some upgrades but still haven't painted it yet!)

Only added bearings and 155 dampers to this one for now, but may up the ante if things get 'competitive', if you know what I mean. ;) (Dampers built with two-hole pistons, 40wt oil, with 2 o-rings and kit spacer to limit down travel.)

The wheels are the kit originals that I have painted black. I wasn't too keen on the grey plastic of the stock pieces, so painting seemed like the obvious solution.
I did the body in PS-32 Corsa Grey, with a black top and fenders, and a PS-48 'anodized aluminum' for the grille. Combine that with the window tint and pearl white for the front indicators, and that makes a full 6 DIFFERENT colors to paint this body!!!

After seeing your mini I want one for myself now, excellent job. The head light and tail light stickers are perfect...how did you get them on with any crinkles?
