Built for my nephew, Turtle Power!
Update - this has had a fair bit of use now, what fantastic cars, really strong and great jumping ability!
Bought this after someone contacted me about some spare parts I was after. The before pic at the end is their photo of it.
Dyed the bumper black again (along with some other parts for the other frog in my showroom), complete strip down, clean up, wire wool and lots of polish and a few replacement parts from other bits of frogs I've purchased and I've got a respectable vintage runner :)
Didn't have a driver figure and rather than buy one, and seeing as officially it's for my nephew to drive when he comes out, I got my sister to sneak me out one of his toys (he's got loads of TMNT's), chopped the legs of and mounted using cable ties.
A slightly dodgy repro body, painted up pretty standard with re-re decals on, got to repair the wing or replace it as I put a crack in it on the test run (hence no decals on it yet) - it was a very impressive cart wheel across the road! Can't believe the speed of it, and that's just with a standard 540 motor in it!
Also waiting for some steel antenna's to be delivered. I do quite like the current antenna, but think the steel ones would be better if he rolls it?
Any comments welcomed as always
