Having just come back from the beach with front axles dangling from the suspension. It was obvious that I needed some new ball joint bearings. eBay had only one set for sale, and having bought those, my thoughts were, 'what happens in the future?'

A quick purchase of some Polymorph and the trick's done. Just boil a kettle, pour some water into a container and add a teaspoon of Polymorph.

Squeeze it into the suspension arm, and then push the ball joint and axle into the hole, keeping it warm by dipping into the water again, add a little more Polymorph to cover the ball. Then run under a cold tap to harden it off.

It's advisable to put the small screw in from the other side beforehand and then remove and place back in the correct side after trimming up with a scalpel.

If at first you don't succeed, then just place the whole thing in hot water and try again, 'Easy!'

I bought some of this stuff a while ago and have still not tried it .This is a briliant use for it and should save a lot of time and money finding hard to come by parts.

I bought some Morphplast about a month ago. Just got it out and tried it last night. Took a couple tried to get used to playing with the material, and I still need to trim the excess off with a exacto knife but this stuff works perfectly. I think I am going to use it in all 6 of my SRB's and take the factory set up out, even the ones that are still good. I love this material. I am excited about seeing what else I can make. I know I need to make some front wheel bushings for my aluminum wheels to fit my Scorcher spindles but I gotta figure out a way to center them before packing in the Morphplast. Thanks for the suggestion of using this stuff.
