Update again, wasn't getting the use it deserved, so sold on ebay

Update since originally posting. Ordered and fitted repro rubber switch cover and fitted an ESC with an on/off switch. Also found/made some steering rods so was able to blast it up and down the street - HUGE smile on my face :) Not to be run again until body is done, maybe get a spare set of on-road wheels? AND, thanks again to Bigwheels_inc who got me a pleiku68 rear underguard - a repro of the RCH hopup

I couldn't resist posting this, it's not quite finished yet but it's getting there. I've been building a Scorcher from odds and ends, picked up via trades on here and ebay. Enjoyed every minute of it. You should notice some Tamiyaclub members custom/repro parts!

Twinset chassis

Purple_rob stinger

Rad22rad wheel covers

Kamtec radio box

Cul-tech front body post (thanks bigwheels_inc!)

pleiku68 rear underguard (thanks again bigwheels_inc!!)

There's a whole bunch of members who've helpded me source parts, donated stuff, traded with and given me great advice/inspiration:

Bigwheels_inc, L-U-K-E, Toykid, MikeT, Biggus, addicted2blue, Tamiya_runner, firstsecondthirdgearwheelieonewheelsenough, Vintageavante and probably some more that I've forgotten to make a note off - sorry if that's you :( UPDATE - toykid - whose paint scheme I'm probably going to pinch!

Need to finish off my body, find some alternative decals, get a rear body mount (they are very expensive at the moment) and probably do a few more things then this will be a runner. Ooh, will probably swap the ESC for one with a on/off switch, easier to use plus I can get a cool rubber switch cover ,)

Any comments welcomed.

Pete

Thats a real smart looking runner. Glad i could have helped with the exhaust. Sadly it was probably my last one. I do like that lexan radio box. you can almost garauntee Tamiya would have made it that was if they had realised. cant wait to see the Shell

The fronts are hornet shocks (see pleiku68 showroom for info), the rears are just some cheapo Carson touring car shocks that I use to use on my M03 mini (until I upgraded them)
