This is a re-post from the big computer crash of 2006. Lots of mods., some visible and some not but this truck is definitely my favorite and will always be a runner. I wanted to keep it looking stock as much as possible but still allow it to do some rock crawling. Keeping it looking stock has made it only a good rock crawler and not a great rock crawler. Some of the mods. are, Inet Alum. Trans, RC4WD Delrin Gears, Inet Alum. Motor Plate, Full Ceramic BB's, RC4WD Stainless Steel Axles, 55 turn Lath Motors, Novak Super Duty ESC, Novak XXXtra Receiver, Proline Moab Tires, RC4WD Bead Lock Wheels, Tamiya Alum. Battery Hold Down, Tamiya Alum. Cantilevers, Locked Diff's., Revo Propeller Shafts, Home Made 3/8in. dia. stretched 7075 Alum. Suspension Links, Revo Ball Ends, Orion Platinum 4800mah LiPo Battery, RC4WD Alum. Knuckles, NewERA Alum. Body Post Mounts, NewERA Big Bore Shocks, NewERA Alum. Lower Servo Supports, Wheel base streched 1 1/2in., Home Made Stainless Steel Front Skid Plate, NewERA Alum. Center Skid Plate .....etc. I know...I know,...I have to chop off the body posts tops. It has been a labor of love, best of all it is a ton of fun. This truck will continue to be modified forever!!!! Update 1/2/2007: Installed the Novak 4.5 Brushless System and front & rear Alum. bumper supports. ......Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Nice to see the return of your truck ! Truly one of the better TXT-1's on the site. Fantastic choice of body colour & extras. I'm a big fan of that beadlock/tire combo. (By the way, I have a nearly done 'special' txt-1 coming soon). TXT-1 is by far the best Tamiya truck !

Thanks for the compliment. I have seen some preliminary construction picts of your TXT-1 and I can't wait to see the finished product.
