i got this off bigwheelspete, and its cool, (much appreciated) i needed the steering arms and various other parts for my mini, the lardy banger has had one too many collisions with walls and attempts at flight from good ol speed bumps, and now the front end is so mashed, it won't even drive, so i figured get a tl01 and use it as parts, however i didn't expect to get one this nice :) Bigwheels sorted me out and it came with speed tuned gear set, practically newbuilt chassis the lovely shell you see in the pics, the enzo wheels, but also with a nice set of original frog rear shocks, perfect for my project which i'm in processes of cleaning at the moment. i agree that the enzo wheels suit the car much better, and i like the optional spoiler luckily for me when i was restoring one of my other tl01s, i bought a chassis with a set of mint modena wheels on, so i have the choice, but i won't be using either, nor the shell i do really like this model, it just looks smooth but mean all at the same time the shell i use is the proline modena shell i got with my tt01, and the wheels and tyres are off a petrol car i was given, they look very much like supra wheels, loads of grip, they're soft with no inserts, when i got the car it was a stock rolling chassis, so first thing i did was a strip and rebuild, regreasing and fully ballracing it, then i popped in some pretty standard radio, a tamiya teu101 BK esc and a moddified stock motor all out of the mini, at the moment i have left the speed tuned gears out, but i wil probably put them in and change the pinion, currently using 21t but i think a 19t with speed tuned gears will be better for car park cruising.

Eerrr Whoops! If you put the electrics in the airing cuboard that helps dry them out mate.

cool, i'll remember for next time, its all good now, i just stripped the casing as you can see and blow dried them, they work fine now, apart from when resetting the esc i set as forward only, and can't remeber how to reset it back to having reverse, but its cool, just means i have to be more carefull around kerbs

if its a standard tamiya esc turn on the tranny then the car while holding the set button down an release the button within 3 seconds then turn the car off and turn on again an the light should flash once if it flashes twice reverse is still switched off
