[TWINSET] aluminum chassis (SRB)
As other SRB owners may know, this jewel is from TWINSET. Stunning design. Wow, just wow. I'm very impressed with the level of quality found here on Tamiya Club and some of the members who fabricate. Truly incredible.
Had to wait a few weeks for notice of availability, but sure enough Andy let me know by email once they came in...and the deal was soon done and paid via Paypal.
For those considering one of these, don't wait until andy stops making them and they end up on Ebay selling for 2-3X original price (think Shodog SRB cages). I'd encourage get one now and I highly doubt you will be disappointed.
The one I chose was with 'wings'. I did this for extra support under the sides of the fragile (and EXPENSIVE) radio box and also for extra structural rigidity. I didn't realize however how 'thick' this alu chassis is made. This is one serious hunk of metal. I think any owner would love it.

bunny, it'l cost ya a mere 28 GBP (shipped) or for us Yanks $46 USD. Not bad considering Shodog srb cages sold for around $50 originally and now on Ebay...cough, hack...someone call 911!
