hotshot/supershot
i had my other hotshot, i didnt have a job and i needed the cash so it had to go! when i sold it i felt like there was a big gap somewhere that needed filling, so now im settled into a new job with a decent wage i thought it was only right to get another one! i saw this on a well known internet auction site (no prize for guessing which one!) so i put a bid on it and won! it came ready to run with charger and a beatties rc holdall. from the outside she looked like a beast ready to kick butt when i got her out of the box, but then i started to look at the parts and OH MY GOD! heres a list of whats wrong with her! the front upper wishbones are cracked at the joints, the front axel bushings are very badly worn so much that the pins in the wheel adapters have fallen out, all four of the HP suspension upgrade shocks have no or very little oil in them, the part of the front bumper that has tamiya cut outs has been broken and superglued back together, the little grub screw that holds the front bumper in place so it doesnt flap around has been replaced with thee' biggest screw and bolt combo ever, the motor is the original one but has the rubber bag from the kit melted around it, the lower rear shock mountings have been superglued in place, the battery holders have been superglued inplace, hotshots are well known for the amount of understeer but the steering on this was 'way out' and last but not least the roof is well dented! having listed all the bad points you might ask me if im happy with it? the answer is ...................HELL YEAH! after all its one of my favourite cars and i'll enjoy putting it right! now ive put a couple of things right by replacing the old motor with a nice used tg, and added a crp front arm brace. its a fab hotshot/supershot hybrid runner. ace!!

This is a gorgeous Hotshot! Aside from the front arm brace, this is exactly the Hotshot I had as a kid - and it looks even better than I remember it. I can't wait to get a runner like this myself!

These are awsome buggies. Bought a runner recently and fitted it with ballbearings, esc and sportstuned motor. Not crazy fast but extremly entertaining to drive! Now waiting for the rerelease to get som spares. The black color along with the yellow rims/dampers makes it look even more agressive then the Supershot!!!
