My first real R/C car - now restored and retired
This King Blackfoot was my first hobby class R/C vehicle. My dad bought it for me and helped me build it in 1996; I ran it stock for 8 years. It impressed all the kids at every neighborhood I lived in, and with it I won every race against their cars. Despite my never doing any maintenance, nothing ever broke even though I ran the truck hard and put many, many miles on it. I learned about hobby R/C in early 2004 and continued to run it with my friends. I finished the restoration on October 6, 2006.
Truck has completely new body set, new driveshafts (same as TGX), Tamiya light kit, TEU-101BK ESC, MRC ID-110 high torque servo, Tamiya radio gear, new stock Monster Spike tires, Tamiya hopup chrome rims and rollbar, Tamiya blue anodized wheel nuts, grey Tamiya shocks, and a full set of rubber sealed Tamiya bearings. I also put in a Sport Tuned motor but replaced it with a Technigold after the pics were taken. I decided to go with a very limited set of decals for a cleaner look and the shocks are slightly shorter than stock, lowering the truck a bit. I couldn't be happier with the results!

Very nice looking ride Rhen. I like the blacked out look. You should get some black wheels too to set it off.

Where did the grey shocks come from, I might need some for myself.

I stole them off an FXT, I think they are Hi-Caps.
Very stylish, sleek in black!

Slickest, coolest, best looking blackfoot I've seen - Reminds me of the Lee Majors and the Fall Guy!!
