Got it all painted at last, need to fit wipers and mirrors though..
Fitted WW2 wheels to add some ground clearance, still like the standard ones though.
Looks better in day light (mica blue over silver leaf, and clear coat) so will retake the pictures soon.
Hope you like it! :)
I will leave off the roll bar for the time being - think it looks a bit too toy like, I've also used a telescopic rig aerial mounted on the rear bed so I dont have to use the daft black tube sticking out of the roof (what were they thinking of).
This is one top heavy truck! Just tipped it over and trashed the body :( will buy another one so at least I won't have to worry about this one for running hard!
I'll have to touch up the paint as its stripped it down to the plastic and beyond.
If you liked those pictures, you should see these...
not for long :) - SOLD

I'm diggin' how people are using WW2 wheels on these. Give the truck a whole new dimension.

Dodge stripes? Some Mustangs had them and others..http://www.bobwhitedecals.com/Lightning.html, anyway I like em!
I'm going to give some stick soon so will let you know how the wheels perform.
Stickman
Sorry to trump your stripes! It was a spur of the moment thing when I was masking it for the blue - thought it would liven it up a bit
Now it looks like a true to scale Monster Truck. Very cool idea with the WW2 wheels, and I like the stripes.
california
ok. sorry mate, but i think i will steal your idea. i HAVE to buy me the same rims and tyres you used on that awesome lookun truck. cause i don't like the original wheel combination very much. great appearance, great paintwork too
bluman94
HEllo Stickman, I have the same tires as those on my F350, I find the steering is not good. Did you change the steering on your truck?
