Basher for the Kids...

Grabbed this off eBay for    £18. It's in a bit of a mess, missing a few screws, etc. but has at least got the sport-tuned still fitted - although I don't know what state it's in. Got a new set of tyres from club member wonder (cheers mate), and fitted bearings to the wheels. The only thing it needs now is a steering rod, and then it'll be ready to take some serious punishment from my 4 and 6 year olds. It looks like it'll stand for a bit of abuse, and the wide track should hopefully mean it doesn't get rolled at full throttle...

UPDATE 7/1/07: Got it running last night, but unfortunately the ESC decided to do an impression of a smoke bomb as soon as I connected it up, so I had to try it with a forwards only ESC instead. Quite quick, but very noisy. I think I might strip the gearbox and give it a clean up...

STATUS: Stripped, ready for clean and rebuild.

- 4WD Kyosho Wheels
- TL01 hubs and carriers
- Front suspension brace
- Transparent motor cover
- EzRun Brushless system
- Unknown dampers
- All tie-rods remade with threaded rod and aluminium tube (a la Twinset)
- Stainless steel hex bolts throughout
- Threaded rods replaced with rods and e-clips
- HPI Rush bodyshell (don't care how badly it get's trashed)
