Built my all time favourite car from all new parts, tis in my show room already but just had some lovely Hobbico Universal drive shafts delivered today by those all time great people - posties! Fitted them straight away. I wish I knew of all the Hop Ups and add ons all those years ago when I was a kid running the first Boomerang I had. There was tons of it, Hobbico, Palma, Crp and Tamiya of course all made so many bits for this drive train chassis it was silly. You can't help wondering - where has it all gone? I've waited years to find some parts, so far I have ballraced the car, added crp shock adjusters and hinge pin brace......... oh and the UJ's,. No radio gear in the car yet, I had an Acoms Technidrive in my original so hanging on for one of those. There is so much more I want to do to this car so it's definitely a long term thing so I will see what I can find ay! My original Boomerang is long gone......stupid me sold it years ago, my mate across the street had a falcon and we used to street bash every chance we got, brings back alot of memorys thinking about it now. As you can see from the pics, you wonder....... considering how many parts need to be removed to get the dog bone out.......... how the damn thing always used to come out on it's own!

Mr 'Eager' Ted Edwards himself! The parts All this just to get the dog bone out! Crappy pic of how it was And crappy pic of how it is now Ballraced Technigold Crp brace & coil adjuster The view my mates falcon always used to see! My pride and joy!

Running my Boomy at the Nook (Wakefield) early this year - a dogbone removed itself - I was going to do a New Build myself - but I like running them to much
Nice car - well done.

Nice Boomer! Can't recall the shafts popping out on my Supershot as a kid, but I'd like to upgrade to universals - they give much smoother suspension! Link or part no?
