Finally done and just in time to shoot for the competition. I wanted to make sure I had some good photos before the impending doom of jumping the car onto its roof.

Thankfully my good friend Ryu did an awesome job of driving the car repeatedly of the jump with no damage to the car.

The final touches included adding aftermarket mini-T piggyback shocks which I have to give a huge thanks to Delux to who put me on to these AND set me up with one of his awesome custom Alu bumpers which finished of the front end perfectly.

I still can't get over the fact that this car was flying through the air today and not sitting on a shelf collecting dust. I think you've set the benchmark on this one. Love the close-up shot of the drivers. BTW nice exhaust!

Fantastic car. I really like these baja style srb's people are building. I particularly like how you've modded the rear tires.

Where did you get the window netting?

20-Nov-2006

I know this is probably a huge call, but coming form a huge vw nut & someone who's collected all the good scorcher pics of this site for inspiration, this is by far the best one. The details, the paint scheme, the wheels & the body modifications are superbly perfect.
I love it!

Real Wild One

13-Feb-2010

As unbelievable as this sounds, I must of missed the SS as a kid. I don't really remember it...just the Wild Willy, thats all. This model however really makes me think about restoring one, although, with the re-re just come out, I might just have to settle for one of those instead....but it'll never be as nice as this.
