I recently went the D Drive Sports in Yokohama to see their products and meet with the people involved in the D Drive F1 racing series.

D Drive Sports is owned by Takauki Furuya and his wife. Takauki has been involved with RC since he first purchased a Tamiya LP500 CS. He has not stopped since. He is involved in the World Drome series here in Japan, and also produces wheels for the F103 chassis along with the F1 race series that takes places at his circuit.
D Drive has every part you could need for a direct drive chassis you could need. He caries parts for Tamiya, Cross, Kawada, Corally, Associated, and Bolink. The wheels that he produces come in three different styles, one style is a Indy car style , the Vintage F1 style is a four spoke design that looks great on those older F1,and the last style is a touring car conversion for the F103,the conversion wheels just bolt right on and with some body mounts you have an instant 190mm touring car. These touring car wheels have been in production since before Tamiya made the F103GT. Sadly D Drive does not ship internationally.
Takauki also has a large collection of RC cars hiding around his shop. The models I found around his shop include a lot of Tamiya F1s,Tamiya Toyota Toms 84c,Marui Thunderbird, Kyosho Phatom, AYK RX 3000, Grasshopper, Bolink Sprint car and a lot of other cars I cant name.
The rules for the series that he hosts are simple, Any 2wd F1 chassis, The body need to be painted in true F1 colors, sponge tires, and 540SH motor. This allows for some creative F1 cars.
Takauki is also a Drummer in a Rock band, the combination of RC and music is fun for him, but as his wife stated the money can be slim.LOL

Thanks for sharing, it looks cold there but that doesn't seem to stop you having awesome events. Japan leads the way in RC events. More, more, more.
