Tamiya showed new style of shaft driven middle class 4WD racing buggy by Dark impact.
Next they started to tell us a logic of their latest aerodynamics technology.
I think this work is a new bench mark of middle class buggy and it becomes a milestone of Tamiya R/C history.

Great looking Keen Hawk, it has a mighty agressive and strong look. It looks even better then a DI. Cheers

I received this X'mas present from publisher last week and I build and painted quickly it this weekend.
It was very exciting experience, but I'm so exhausted last night and could not comment about this.
I could only upload its pics and soon I slept like a dead man.
Now, I have to back to work.
Have a nice day, and merry X'mas!

I had a feeling this shell needed a better paintjob than boxart to really do it justice and I was right. Another stunning car Grahoo!

Wow, real nice looking buggy..

The design of the shell looks like a mix of Honda NSX, Formula 1, and something from another planet..
Great job on making it look terrific.

Very slick bodywork, I must say i always enjoy looking at the creations you come up with. You are very talented, I am surprised Tamiya has not made you a job offer....

Stunnning Grahoo san. Didn't think I'd like the busy swoopy shell, but your car is v.nice. Good combination of paints and shell and wheels.

Wow. I wasn't keen on the Keen Hawk till I saw your ride here. I agree with the other posts in that yours looks like a good combination offroader/Formula 1. That car looks fast just sitting there

Your Dark Impact was 'TOP DOG'! But now your Keen Hawk is the 'BIG DADDY' of DF-03's!!!! You are hitting HOMERUNS with this paint scheme!!!!

Grahoo,
You getting the DB-01? I think the rules for Tamiya Asia Cup this year allows DB-01 and DF-03. I wonder which one would be faster with the controlled motor (Tamiya Sports Tuned, right?). I'm still a DF-03 fan though, so I might drive that.

Just about to painy my Keen Hawk body when I saw yours, have you gotl ant advice because yours is cool.

Thanks for commenting. Usually I use for my paint job except base color ordinary paint brush and acrylic paints, example liquitex. I think this old method brings easy masking. So, I am using this method more than 20 years, even if it makes body shell heavy a little.
