Touareg chassis is a near on perfect fit for this shell. Orignally the shell is from a newbright RTR kit(£30 from comet). The orignal Chassis with this is well not all that good but the shell is what caught my eye ;) Looks so much neater on this chassis. Will get round to fully lighting up the disco :)

I custom made a polycarb bracket pic 8 to fit the back and the front works very much like the mounting on the jeep

Not sure, got them as they are from a friend. Unsure what they would normally be used on!

Bliksem!!! That is Afrikaans for whoaa!! or something to that effect. As a Landy series 3 driver myself I'm also always looking for anything from the Land Rover stable but this is awesome.

Absolutely one of the best CC-01 builds i have seen, the chassis matches the body perfectly, Those are two piece Tamiya wheels from the earlier Touring cars.. well done, truly awesome

Hi there, Just a quick question...did you have to trim ant of the body when you put the Discovery G4 body onto the XC chassis? I have just obtained a chassis to put my Discovery body onto!

Many Thanks,

Andy

Yeh there was a small bit of trimming but it all depends on how you mount the body. If you look at some of the later pics you should be able to see.
