Been busy yesterday. Got my wife and kid out of the house so had time to finish the 30th anni. WOW was I excited about building this one. Just the best of the best of parts to make the chassis and the 1/10th body is awesome! Started with finishing the body before working further on the chassis. When you want to do it right it takes time and it did; 5 hours on cutting and applying the decals (with soapwater). Did anyone noticed the diverence between this boxart and the 58001? WHERE DID THE GOODYEAR-LOGO GO? I think Tamiya lost the license or something like that because no logos on the tires or on the body. With A library of decals I managed to replace them and make it a true replica just like the 1/1th. The wheelcovers where sprayed Gold and weathered with tamiya smoke to give it more 3d effect. Tire logo were added from a Tamtech F1 decal and look very convincing IMO. The chassis was a pleasure to built because it was a while ago that I build a competion car. It added a tamiya competion motor and an original tamiya servo. Plan to add some race accus and an tamiya ESC for that comtemporary 2006 look (for over 30 years to get it historicly correct) When finished WOW, this is an impressing kit! Always had the Vaillant 934 as one of my favorites but the lexan 1/10th looks ace. To compare the original 934 is sitting next to it and the colour match is almost perfect! The box itself is a nice addition and perfect for storage (no storage needed, it will go in my display) Hope you like this and hope to see someone other building this thing, you won't regret it!

oh yeah hubba hubba whow 2006 a good year! finished it 12/2006 old and new
