Finally built my TT01 Escort WRC and although I've yet to fit a cockpit driver/co-driver set here she is so far. Fitted is an MTroniks 19x2 motor, Alloy Heat Sink, Novak reversable ESC, Aluminium Shaft, Alloy Upper Mount Arm Set, Alloy Motor Mount with Heat Sink. For those eagle eyed members these aren't the standard multispoke wheels as the originals got damaged so I fancied a change and put on some different multispoke wheels with treaded tyres for Tarmac spec. and Focus WRC wheels with Rally Block Tyres for ...yes you've guessed it Gravel spec. I know the body mounts are horrendously large as standard and will get trimmed down eventually but until I get some more I'll use various shells on this until I can tailor each one to the shell. Most noticeable is the clear windows on this from the standard dark windows which are in the kit - I put a tutorial how I did this in the 'How To' section, which has had mixed reviews, some of which I haven't added to the page which puzzled me from so called enthusiasts. Lesson learned that will be the last time I put one up! I've also added some Bare Metal Foil on the mirrors for a more realistic look and finally the 'Sideways Garage' is a different theme from the mundane background shots so I decided to re-shoot my other models with this scene. I used to do alot of 1/24th static builds and enjoyed more doing dioramas and detailing so thought I'd make the images a little bit more aesthetically pleasing.
Please se my other showroom shot for the disc brakes.

Superb shots - Tho the tarmac spec looks a little to low for my liking - Give it to my course and there would be no bumper shortly lol Great shots tho

The garage is a great idea. Reminds me of looking through the old Tamiya catalogues. Looks fantatstic.

Love it in gravel spec, a rally car would never be lowered that much! How did you make that garage, looks perfect!

Thanks guys I know it's very LOW in Tarmac spec and in reality it would probably be more to scale ride height wise in the Gravel Sprc. on asphalt but I love 'em low down. In Gravel Spec it looks like a crop sprayer when it's to high and you can see the tub underneath if you do it to scale.
As regards to the garage - Brick wall was a background of bricks off Google images on to 6 A4 pieces of paper and the boxes were just imagination and fiddly masking tape cut to scale with a few old wheels and tyres chucked in here and there.

I love Dioramas!!! The little extras like the brake rotors make it look very realistic. Way to go
