Just posted this up after kind invite to SIG.
Entirely created in 3ds max with mental ray textures and render. More pats have been made but not put on the model yet. Nearly complete now but moving house so won't be able to do more for a while.

Stunning. Brilliant work, I can only imagine haw many hours you have invested in this. You should consider selling some hi-res prints - I would buy...

Excellent work, due you use Maya in any way?? Cant remember if mental ray is a part of the Maya software package....For my day job as a designer I am using the sketching software inside of Alias Studio, but not the stuff you use.......

Thanks for nice comments all . @ chrisdev: yeah may do that & cheers. @ scollins: My Maya experience is minimal, I can use it at work and should do more. I think maya supports mental ray but tihs is all 3ds Max, though Autodesk now own both Max and Maya so things should cross over alot better in the future.

Many thanks guys but if any part of this image were passed through photoshop I would consider it cheating and my model would be soiled and impure
