I've been tinkering with this one over the last couple of months and made some subtle modifications. I've added some 'Wyoming' style wheels (thanks for the idea Seth!), some TSL Super Swamper tyres and replaced the KCs with some aluminium items from Cul-tech. Next up is the nudge bar from the High Lift which'll go on the front with a little modification! ;-)

Torhaantje - I used celulose Rover 'maple brown' - a sad sounding colour but it looks good on the truck!

Oh snap! That does look fine, I must say this is the nicest conversion I've seen. Those wheels look super with the multi/color look. Just a beauty!

Wyoming - ebay! I'm not sure who makes them or what they are from but a search for 'tamiya xc' found them.

Still love this truck chef, I used the silver edged wheels on my Power Wagon to make them pop a bit. I'll keep my eyes peeled for some tires like that!

How did I miss this one??? I really dig this and see more in this color combo in 1:1 scale around here. I want to do mine in this color. Are those brown/beige decals??? Can I send you my grill for paintin??? I don't have that kind of patience, but it pays off as it looks real.
