OK so this is technically just the superb Tamiya Shell mounted on a TT01 Chassis but thought it deserved better than being put in the Misc category. Big thanks go to Phoenix for the NIB trade of the body parts set, packed well and delivered fast so a big thumbs up to anyone else trading with this member.
I've been after one of these models for such along time but as I already have a front mounted motor chassis I didn't want the whole kit as such but just the shell. You will notice that I haven't put the Kit version wheels on as I never particularly liked the look of them and in reality they weren't the only rims they raced on throughout the season's as they also raced on one's similar to these. At Oulton Park once they raced with mirror finished OZ rally style wheels on the front only - This was just before the Super Touring Era so whether this was a test for aero dynamics or brake cooling efficiency I don't know. I've shot the phot's in the 'Sideways-Garage' but make no mistakes I love to thrash all my models so don't think for one second they get an easy ride.
I love'd watching the Mondeo, and at the time there was probably 50% of the seasons race's where I'd be shouting 'Go on Radisch' on the drivers parade lap, which after 3-4 times he'd look at the crowd(roughly in my direction!!) and stick his thumbs up with a smirk on his face. Bet he thought 'Not that loony again!'. Anyway as you can see I've actually put Rouse's insignia on the body because Andy was one of my favourite if not THE favourite BTCC driver of mine. Andy in an RS500 was a class act to follow, but that's another story.........

1 All it needs is a driver figure now 1 The house of 'Sideways' 1 Sideways - 'Sideways' Gods eye view 1 Get cocky with the camera angles now!! :) 'Wheres that damn Mechanic?' 1 Wasn't the best saloon car in the world...... 1 ....But a menace on the track 1 'Beauty with inner strength' - Debateable now!! I need to sweep the floor up next time!!

Always loved the Mondeo kit , must get a new body set for mine ,as it is rather mangled from use by its previous owner-you've done an excellent job on yours ,very well turned out there ,and that workshop is great - looks real .Maybe you could adapt a rally car interior to get the driver in the car?.Great work ,well done .
