This was a Mustang, but now has an HPI Corvette body custom painted by TC scollins. It's got quite a few upgrades but still needs stabilizers and a lightweight chassis. I also need new tires, it has worn the current ones smooth. I tried some wheels off a Sonic Fighter (or was it Voltec?) and I like the looks so they are for display I guess. The alloy parts are just for fun. I have a long history with this particular car which can be found on a related model's entry (link below pics).
UPDATE: This car is more of a basher at the moment, I am waiting for parts to come in from TC members. I took it to the races just for fun today and tried some drifting with the Boy's 4WD wheels/tires, it did very well! Very controllable but I was not surprised, the TL-01 is always an easy car to drift with. Needs a better motor though, the Nightmare2 I have in it is just no good.
EDIT: Thanks to mrflibble for stabilizers, Flux Density for a lightweight chassis, and Gruntfuggly for custom hollow carbon gear shafts!
UPDATE: This is an old stage in development of the TL-01. I was not real serious at this point about the car and while it had money in it, it didn't have enough of the right items and my electronics weren't any good. Old GP3300s and various antique stock motors do not a racer make.

I haven't got around to fitting the new chassis or stabilizers. There's not much point anyways, I won't be racing it any time real soon. Give me a month and I'll have it doing something.

Sharp looking car, that. Those Boy's wheels and tires fill those wheelarches nicely don't they?

Thanks. They aren't bad at all, $30 a set and you get a free paperweight.
