Bought a Hot Shot that had been run over by a car for £10. The chassis and body were toast so we build a new chassis from frp and aluminium based on drawings in an old issue of Model Car Monthly.

It features an Associated RC10 servosaver and Hot Shot SP hot-up shocks, homemade adjustable upper arms and homemade brass drive cups on one gearbox.

Sorry, but I (foolishly) threw the mag away years when moving house. I'm parting out the car for sale, so if you'd like the chassis let me know.

I love this....I took on a similar task and made an aluminum chassis for my Royal Ripper back in the late 80's just to see if I could do it. It worked fine but was crudely cut out and bent to shape so no where near as clean or precise as yours. Too bad you got rid of it. Nice project.
