This is something i have wanted to do for years but never had the time nor the cash!! I just love this buggy, such fun to drive. Over the last few weeks i have been buying items for this project via the trade rooms and Ebay, a few more parts to collect then i'll be under way! A BIG thanks to those of you on this site who have helped with parts and advice and a special THANK YOU to Ivan for the unique 'part' that he sent me!!! (more will be revealed on what it is later) ;). I have most of the parts i need now, just a few more to go, just awaiting delivery on a few of the items. The colour is going to be a coppery type colour, as seen in the new Scania at the model fair! ******Disclaimer....Some of the pictures are from Ebay, the items bought by myself, just awaiting delivery******

The mystery 'part' Any guesses? Cheers Ivan!! Chrome wheels, Thanks Joachim Frog chassis (prefer this colour for some reason) Body set Nose cone, Thanks Jim These cost a fair bit, but you gotta have them!! Wheel kit to fit the chrome wheels Decal sheet (just waiting on these to arrive) Gear set The collection is growing!!

Hi Rusty,
I'm in the process or restoring an old MB.
I'm also using that colour chassis.
I'm at the stage where I now have a rolling chassis and I must say the colour works really well.
Good Luck with it.

I just think it 'works better' with the chrome effect wheels. I have seen it on a few models on here and thought i'd go that way too

I'm inteding to get some chromes for mine, didn't realise they were hex drive. I'm gonna have to wait until next month though I think. Spanked my last bit of spare cash on a Clod Buster on ebay.

The wheel conversions are made by HPI, you can buy them from Tower Hobbies for less 5.00 USD. I used them on my Blackfoot.
