Well this has snowballed out of control! What started as a simple idea of fitting a kamtec shell to my modified SRB chassis has turned into an epic.
If you liked those pictures, you should see these...
Getting there slowly
Hmm, looks like a winner to me...nice start!!!
Looks cool mate! Carry on with the mods we wanna see some more!!
I know that feeling well - it was the same for me with my Red Bull Racer! It's looking very smart so far - stick with it!
It's looking great, love the inside detail.
The front shock cut outs are the future, exactly what i've been planning.
Very nice custom work!
I saw this in the forums and it is STUNNING work I love it!!! GRWAT JOB can't wait to see it at Kidd 07
Gorgeous that mate, LOVE IT!
That a great one. Can't wait to see the result.
That is shaping up great! I wish i had of cut my arches back like that now on my Kamtec body, much more Baja looking. I think you have made the best of that body
This is so sweet!!! Rock on dude!!! It´ll be so cool when it´s done!!! Badboy
Errmm! What can I say? I'm a bit stunned by the reaction if I'm honest. Thanks very much for all your comments, I hope the finished thing lives up to them. It's been loads of fun working on it so far, now I'm going to be terrified of messing it up! .
Burn Out Boy
A nice piece of work. The right coat of paint and you'll have a great looking buggy
FANTASTIC job !! alright I can't wait, you must tell us what color it will be.
Now see that's the thing...... I haven't got a clue what colour it'll be yet. Orange and white maybe?
Fantastic project! Looks like im gona have to re-do my face-lift baja to a higher standard! Top work, cant wait to see it finished.
Looking good, I love the interior detail, that cage looks awesome. Also the first I have seen with the front shocks coming up through the body like that - very true to the actual racers. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with the rear cage/engine detail.
Thanks for all the positive comments, I hope I can live up to them.
I've not really thought about engine detail yet. That will be treated as a separate job when the rest is finished, cos it will probably take as long again as the rest has! There will be some detail though, an oil cooler and some remote reservoirs for the shocks on the cage are planned.
very cool, were did you get the shocks
