Oh...whats this...3,500 rpm..WHOOAAGGHHH!!!HELP!!
Got sick and tired of not having one....so got the credit card out again!!
Emailed Prodrive and they confirmed the fact that the car was fitted with parts they supplied and then modified by them at Prodrive in Sept 1996 with the performance package. Further mods last year to engine, up to 337 bhp, I can only describe the acceleration as so VIOLENT you really have to be in the mood for it, and be on a very clear road, but the rest of the car is equally impressive, wonderful handling, etc.

Yeah, Prodrive can supply many special parts for your Impreza, mine needs new dampers so they advised Impreza P1 parts as an alternative to what they originally fitted themselves in 1996. All the parts are available through official dealers as well.

Quality car! My dad had one, only a WRX though, still, 280bhp and the (awesome) awd system is PLENTY to put a grin on your face!

Definitely agree, this is the best 'drivers' car I have ever been in. I can see multiple Impreza ownership in the future!!

nice looking machine! I've got my eye on a 98 Sti Type R for my next car. Basically a white imported version of the P1

Hello, ex scooby owner here, looks like a clean one, were the leathers from the factory as they are quite rare. I understand when you say you were 'sick and tired of not owning one' I miss mine, I'm after another soon, my old one is in my showroom
