Smart! Just remember not to breath the graphite's dust when sawing. Very nasty stuff!

Great idea. Ever questioned if graphite dust might cause lung cancer? I always work with a mask when cutting this stuff.

Good idea, carbon is expesive stuff, I'm gonna try my habd at carbon fibre custom bits, will let you all know how i get on. yes, dangerous stuff the fibres and epoxy resin used to make the sheets!- cause brain damage, lung damage etc- definately one to do outside with a mask on!

Carbon black or epoxy resin are not appear to cause significant harmful effects after a single short-term exposure, except general effects that would be expected with any fine dust (high concentrations can cause coughing and mild, temporary irritation).
