Trust me on this: sailing this wonderfully detailed Tamiya yacht is a lot of fun! And relaxing of course...

Not the best performer of the fleet, but surely one of the best looking yachts around. Tamiya quality, ever heard of it? ;)

Would love the much larger Yamaha Around The World racing yacht… but they are so expensive. Maybe later this season!

Thx for looking!

P.S. I could use a skipper and some bikini babes scale 1/20. Ideas are welcome!

Sharp at the wind Coming in before the wind High speed pass: about one knot true speed, lol! Ready to dock... time to open a nice Pinot Grigio

Is that supposed to be an x-yacht? Just wondered if they had modelled it on any particular manufacturer?

Nice looking sailboat and great photos. Try modifying the 1/20 Tamiya Pit Crew, that's what I'll be using for my Round the World Kit.

That's sweet. I'm thinking of getting rid of all my cars and just getting a sailboat instead.

Wow I see that is one great work on the paint, I just found mine - i might need to do more work on the detailing and strip down... did you made any modification to the yacht before letting it sail??

cheers!

No modifications, my dear Pininy. Only playing with the inclination (fore or aft) of the mast to find balance.
